You Are Not My Competition

We’ve all done it before.  Some of us may be in the habit of doing it regularly.  And we may not even realize we’re doing it.

We judge other women.  We form opinions about who they are or what they believe or how they measure up to us in a matter of seconds.

The other day I came across this blog and haven’t been able to get it out of my mind since.  Head over to Scissortail Silk and read this woman’s take on the unspoken competition that can often exist between us ladies.

May we be women who give grace and choose to see one another as we truly are–“daughter(s) of the Most-High God, beautifully and wonderfully made, created by the King of Kings, loved by the Lord of Lords, precious, powerful, His!”
